NHD Reflection

NHD was more difficult this year than it was last year because of the person we picked for the theme. Christopher Columbus is what we picked for the Individauls in History Actions and Legacy. At first we had no idea as to how we going to put his actions and legacy inside of a performance. When we came with the idea to start of in a classroom it was a stupid idea because we didn't know how to transition into a scene where Columbus would be portrayed as the person he really was. At first we didn't want to go back to the Citywide competition or the State wide competition because it was to much stress and we didn't want to have any teacher on our back about the importance of if we win what credibility we would get. After the first year we did the performance we were nervous and we forgot our lines but this year was differrent I know I wasn't nervous and I didn't forget any of my lines. Overall the only obstacles we had to overcome was the fact that at first we didn't want to work on this scipt, we didn't know how to write the script, and trouble focusing on the task at hand because we were dealing with the fact that we didn't really want to move on past to any other round so we wouldn't have to do anymore work on NHD. Another low is we kept arguing about if we even wanted to memorize the lines to our sccipt and we kept arguing about the grade we would get if we didn't do the performance. Basically there was a lot of disagreemant between each other. But we pulled through and now we are going to the Citywide competetion
