Why is our school sharing sports teams with other schools (Specifically Football)?

Our school Constitution high school has been sharing sports teams for the three years this school has been open. I have played for those teams for two out of the three years that we been with the other schools. Our football team is shared with the high school Benjamin Franklin for all of the three years. Two years our school has been with Boddine high school with our basketball team, the varsity team so it is hard to try to start even if you are really good. Playing football is the same; the coaches only start their own people from their own original school with the exception of Marquese White and Daivon Jackson. Those two start for Ben Franklin varsity team. Many complaints like that have come from other students in our school like 9th grade John. Constitutions high school needs our own football teams but people worry about the size of the people in school and the number of people in our school. Is our school big enough to start our own football team, the size of our people and the number of students inside of our school? One answer from someone was “yes and no because our school isn’t big in size we have a few wide people but we would be a junior varsity team unless we get some huge new 9th graders and our numbers are mo problem in terms of having our own football team

Interviewing many people, I’ve found that many people feel very strongly about having our own football team. I’ve interview 9th grade John and he said, “he doesn’t agree with our school’s decision to link with other high schools.” John feels that the other schools are benefiting off of our talent as we progress and get better as we go along the way and get better. John thinks said, “Our school says they have a lot of money but when it comes time we say we want to do something with the money they say we don’t have enough money.” This school says that we are supposed to have our own teams and everything but we are playing with other schools still after the brochures to this schools lies to the students that look at it. Hassaan Cooper was another person interview by me and he said, “ Our school is supposed to have a lot of money but we can’t afford to get our own football team and I don’t like playing for another school. Playing for another school we don’t get any recognition if we are playing for different high schools. People interviewed in this passage are those who don’t agree with playing for another school and think we should have our own teams. Questioning some other people they say they don’t mind playing for another school, but if we had our own team would be better than what we are dealing with now. Dominique Gibson of the 10th grade says, “I don’t mind playing for another school but playing for our own school would be super cool. Having our own team would bring a lot of new skills to our school like leadership, and time management skills. Marquese White says, “I don’t mind playing for another school as long as he starts on every game.” Principal Dr. Davidson was the last person who I interviewed but he says why would we get our own football team when we already play for this one so he doesn’t agree with my plan of our own team. Principal Dr. Davidson says, “It’s better that we have a team to play on than no team at all.” I had to agree with because that is true I’d rather play on a team than no team at all. Dr. Davidson said it all so I stopped right there and ended my mission for our own school football team.
