POG 2 Summary

the POG 2 was about going up against the iChip. This POG i went against the iCip because i thought it was incomplete or flawed. citizens used protest, petition, and the surprise of Apple vs. Cooper. Apple vs. Cooper was a big upper chance to put Apple out of business but the doctor and the witness missed their chance of helping put apple out of business. the protest and the petition was to make our point come out, but people were arrested for doing both of them one or the other. some people were kept indefinitly. that violates our 5th amendment. even though we lost to apple we did have apple improve their iChip

Cat in the Hat/Freud

i did a character analysist on the cat i said the cat was the id of the story because he did whatever he wanted. the cat was trying his best to try and get the kids to do whatever he thought was fun. the cat went against all the rules fo the house and outside, at the end the cat had a change of heart and started to follow rules by coming back in the end and cleaning up his mess. so ws the cat the id or the superego.

POG 1 Summary

My POG 1 was about trying to see what human nature was really like. i said human nature was not always creul but at the same time it is because of when we want something. there was proof of how what happens when people want something. i explained what would happen if you were good folk but yoour greed could still take over. just like the bushmen got take n over by not knowing how to share. if you don't share you become greedy is what i am trying to come to.

Portfolio Essay

Dear ReaderPhilosophy of Government II
Malik Cooper
Period 6-7

In the iDeal Society citizens tried to get rid of the iChip. Doing this the citizens used the right to petition in order to get the government to recognize that the citizens wanted to stop the production of the iChip. Then the citizens tried to the right to protest because the petitioning was not working. The Constitution does not always resolve conflict because our petitions and protest were violated. The surprise of Citizen Malik Cooper dying of the iChip was a very big upper hand for the citizens. This caused Apple vs. Cooper.
Citizens used 1st amendment right of petition. The reason for this is because the Executive Branch was violating our 4th amendment. Unreasonable searches were being conducted because they were tracking people with the iChip. Police were arresting citizens protesting in order to make the protesters quit. Police did this because bombings had been acquiring. People against the iChip were bombing places. The president assumed it would be the people petitioning. People were being arrested illegally, but it was uncertain if they were part of the terrorist group.
The people also used protesting. People were also arrested for that too. Kameko was arrested when the police had no right to arrest her. She might have been a terrorist, but they didn’t know that. She was arrested for protesting, and she was being held indefinitely. The police was violating the 5th amendment of not being held indefinitely. Kameko could have fought back because she was being held with no limit. She was not using the Constitution effectively. That doesn’t really matter because in Article II, Section I, the president must swear to protect and defend the Constitution. President Mink has not been doing that when people were being arrested for petition and protest.
The death of Malik Cooper was the biggest surprise. Information went out and people said he died because the iChp. Apple of course had their own opinion of how Malik Cooper died. Apple CEO said, “ Malik Cooper died of a brain tumor that went unnoticed.” Cooper took advantage and sued Apple for his death. Based on the law the Jury ruled Apple not guilty of Malik Cooper’ s death. They should have based their judgement on law and facts.
That is why Apple won that case. This case might have been lost, but it did open up Apple’s eyes to make the iChip better. Cooper family had the right to sue because of Article III.
In our efforts people tried to get rid of the iChip. Some citizens used petition others used protest then there was Apple vs. Cooper. We even had some terrorist to try to intimidate Apple. The President did notice a little. The Executive Branch did settle the dispute in court. Even though these 3 events petition, protest, and Apple vs. Cooper were not completely successful, but these actions did make a difference. It opened Apple’s sight of things. It gave them sight of improving the iChip. Still I think the Constitution does not resolve conflict. That is if it is not used effectively. The Constitution was just ignored by the Executive Branch. That proved the Constitution doesn’t always work.

Algebra Newsletter

in my newsletter i was looking up Egyptian Arithmetic. i was looking up how it works and how they did their math. their math was differrent in some ways and similar in others. to do their math they would use hieroglphics. they had symbols like a lotus plant a finger a frog or tadpole. these hieroglphs would represent big numbers like 100000000. the numbers they used would have a symbol for the powers of ten. then the egyptians would then have a number 1 sign represent 1-9 then from 10 to the second power is a different number and so on. the egyptians fractions are very similar to ours. we use the same method as the egyptians did. the math was completely different the subtraction was too. the multiplication was accurate but it would take to long the way they did it, so we came up with the timetable which is based on the Egyptians ways, but it way easier.
